Terminate of my employment by big American Drug company
The arrogance of my employer and underhanded heartless attack on my wellbeing by sending a
termination letter to me Dated Mar17/2011 but sent out Purolater courier mar21/2011 I rec'd
and signed for it mar 22/2011 the mailed copy sent mar21/2011 i rec'd mar24/2011 and the accompanied contract they wanted me to sign was to be signed returned by mar24/2011 or the offer of a yr for each yr served is off the table,but after speaking with the labour board they have
informed me the company owes me a yr for each yr served plus 8 weeks termination so they offer me 19.4 but I am entitled(by law to )19.4+8=27.4 weeks owed and I don't need to sign any contract it is mine to receive,but they only thing troubling me is my prescription coverage will end may12/2011 which means another monthly cost of over 400.00 on the meds I need and my govt don't cover those meds,so another big American company taking away benefits from a Canadian,on a disability,I cant believe our legal system allows them to be so heartless to a
person on a disability,what a useless Govt,both provincial and federal not very helpful to their citizens,letting those American companies do what they please,not caring...quite heartless......
